UK consumers ‘to spend more online than those in the US’

New research has highlighted the opportunities that an online presence may give growing businesses.
According to the study by JupiterResearch, which was commissioned by LinkShare, the average UK consumer is expected to spend around 40 per cent more online than those based across the Atlantic in the US.
It was also found that 45 per cent of online buyers feel the reception of regular promotions can influence who they prefer to purchase items from, with a third also claiming loyalty schemes can be effective.
